Yellowstone National Park

Updated: Apr 27, 2020

Yellowstone, Wyoming

After the Mt. Hood hangout, Moriah and I took off from Portland to stay at her place in Yellowstone NP for a few days.

I remember this place partly because it was where I wrote my thesis and completed my graduate program. So that felt good. But without a doubt, Yellowstone is one of those unique places that you can't forget and can't wait to get back to once you leave.

Here, Moriah is doing her research as she plans a cram-in-as-much-as-possible trip. And she crushed it. This short Yellowstone visit was AWESOME.

We started out the morning with a stop into Artists' Paintpots.

The southern Gallatin range in the background.

Grand Prismatic Spring.

The Grand Tetons en route to Colorado.

Lukah! Laurel's 2nd kid. En route to my next stop (Buena Vista, CO!) I dropped in to Fort Collins, CO to visit Laurel's family.
